I am a PhD Candidate in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at the University of Iowa. My research focuses on the socio-economic impacts of flooding and statistical modeling.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 2019, where I also competed as a DII cross country, Nordic skiing, and track and field athlete. After graduation, I moved to Madison, WI, to pursue a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Water Resources Engineering at UW-Madison, which I completed in 2021. During my time at UW-Madison, I served as a Teaching Assistant in the Mechanical Engineering Department, teaching both fluid mechanics and 3D modeling courses. Since 2021, I have been at the University of Iowa, pursuing my PhD. My anticipated graduation date is December 2024. After graduation, I hope to receive a postdoctoral position in Water Resources Engineering.
